The human condition of being alone represents for the photographer a painful, yet resolute chance to discover his unconscious as a source of knowledge.
Almost obsessed with loneliness, Chiapperini decided to spy and catch it in the most unthinkable and vital places, such as the house, the road, the nature. Getting used to and accepting being on his own, he became comfortable with that, almost to the point of not feeling it anymore.
Behind the suspension of the events, there is the hope that the moment is followed by other moments, where the loneliness can become a possibility to know and to observe better from a new perspective, and to disobey the time.
